"Microsoft says that the tiny photo on the Windows Vista Business Edition installation disks is an anti-piracy feature. The tiny photo of three grinning men — less that 1 mm in size — is one of several images incorporated into the hologram's design intended to make it harder to replicate a Vista DVD, according to Nick White on Microsoft's Vista team blog. 'The real story is interesting, but conspiracy theorists will be disappointed to learn that it is not the result of a deliberate attempt to deceive,' White wrote."

says should be "stated" or "said"
is should be "are"

You can see the quotation marks. So I don't really care, I didn't write it.

yeah this is old news, still interesting, they said there are more pictures on each disc, and other anti-piracy measures that are invisible to the naked eye.

Hey, way to look like an idiot!

the tiny photo on the Windows Vista Business Edition installation disks is an anti-piracy feature.

It's talking about the tiny photo. Do you see an "s" at the end of "photo"? Neither do I. It looks singular to me. That may be why it's "is".

Secondly, it's a matter of opinion whether "says" should be in the past or not. It's perfectly correct the way it is now.

http://www.google.com/search?q="microsoft+says"

http://www.google.com/search?q="microsoft+said"

848,000 vs 700,000 results in favour of "says".

Next time, try correcting actual mistakes.
