Omg, it was totally awesome... thought I don't like the whole "the others" thing.. sounds kinda like lost.

I think Hiro is his own "hero".. and he, as he doesn't want to change history, pretends to be that other guy.

Oh and I like the whole mexican ilegal immigrants thing :)

Wonderful show.  I watched it tonight, I loved it.  However, before watching the wonderful show of Heroes, I saw the series premiere of "Chuck", which, in my opinion, was beyond shitty.  It's quite obvious that Heroes will still be the main supporter of NBC's Monday Night Line Up.  The new season was awesome; I was disappointed that we didnt get to see Nikki's Character though, She is my favorite.  Can't wait to get wrapped up in the new season.

They are. Nathan doesn't fly, he is just jumping very high and fast. But this new guy, he really does fly.

Notice the "explosion", maybe it was a plane or something.

It could also be that Nathan flies much much faster, and with less control. And this new guys flies with more control.

Throughout the episode it is hinted that you do not want to get Maya mad or she will "do" something. Later, when Alejandro finds Maya, a whole truck of people have been killed and "petrified." Their eyes have bled and turned black.

Peter absorbs powers though, while Sylar has to kill people and look at their brain and figure out how the power works, then he can use it.  Peter can just think of a person with that power.

But then again, Heroes does tend to have a shitty child-like storyline so you never know.

I believe that the brother does have powers. And also that the brother and sister are connected some way. Like how she screamed at them that it wasn't a good idea to hurt her brother? I think she has the condition which Suresh was talking about at the start of the episode. Maybe losing control of her powers?

Lightning Bolt? Haha yeah he does have the power over shooting lighting bolts from his hands. He slowly discovers this as well as his telekinetic powers during season 2 while in County Cork, Ireland. Also this is where he finds a love interest :D

The boogyman is bob from the company.. who is also Parkman's dad :o

Monica's ability is to replicate any physical motion. Evidence of this is when she does a double backflip like she saw on some wreastling show.

When Claire and West kiss she notices the mark on his neck (Like ted and matts) on his neck, and he tells her of a traumatic encounter he once had with a man in horn-rimmed glasses (Claire's foster dad) :o

Also one of the original cast members develops the condition.

Woah is this thread still going on? Saw the Herores DVD Season 1. I think they did a pretty good job on it. Q25, I don't think u should look at spoilers because they will ruin the whole thing for you.

yay for streaming versions :P now I'm up to date and ahead of my country :P

also been reading the nbc comics online, I don't think the BBC is doing that over here, shame becasue it's got a lot of back story in it.

@&#@#(@ good story, lots of questions in my head too.

And by the way.. I don't know if I'm the only one that noticed that.. But Peter (my favorite character btw)  had  a ''Hero'' logo necklace.. I think that has to do a LOT with the electric blue balls he was throwing than anything else.

My guess is he might have died trying to get away with Nathan on the flying, or just taken away by ''the others'' which I actually consider to be the good ones honestly, and these others, have given and trained him to his maximum potential.. To serve good.

That "sign" is all over the place... Niki's tattoo, Hiro's sword.. etc

Yes, everyone noticed that, he must have went somewhere when he exploded. (When he remembers stuff slowly possible flashbacks?)
