I should be getting my new PC tomorrow and I'm hoping to buy/play some games on it. I haven't played many PC games so I was wondering (without spamming ) if you could suggest games. Games you buy, or free games, don't mind.

Was thinking about CS: Source. I played CS before but I'm pretty crap at it. Unreal Tournament is pretty cool, I think. I'll probably play America's Army. I found a load of great free games at ijji.com. I've got Football Manager 2007, boring though. I like racing games. Don't even want to bother with WoW or anything alike Soo.. yeah. What games do you play?

Awesome! Get Sims 2, because it's fun controlling people. And it's not a complicating game. If you are into adventure/shooters get BioShock. And of course World of Warcraft is really popular. I on the other hand never played it before and don't intend to because I'm not interested in strategy games.

LOL sorry bout that. For racing games the Need For speed series is good. Crazy taxi is fun too. You can try out Grand Theft Auto. Halo 2 but better if you have XBOX Live.

Rollercoaster Tycoon (I only have played 1 & 2) is quite fun too. If you get bored by the default ones, just build your own flat-terrain park and fill it up however you like. Oh and $$-wise, it's quite cheap.

Oh I used to play Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. It was really fun. Good suggestion Nagamasa. I was also a fan of the Backyard sports series on pc when I was a little kid. So get them Chris4. You will Love 'em.

Older games: WC3 TFT, Counter Strike: Source, COD2..?
New games: Crysis, Portal, TF2, World in Conflict, Bioshock. Also I reckon Assassins Creed looks awesome ^^.

If you haven't played the Half Life series I suggest you go do that to. Start from the first one ^^

Well, W3 it's and awesome game indeed, but it seems he's not into strategy games...

Diablo II isn't close to strategy, it's a role playing game (RPG for short).

I've been installing all my games on my laptop, just realised I don't actually have very many.

It's a shame you don't like strat games - I bought Command & Conquer 3 (I've already got all the prequels) yesterday, it's an absolutely amazing game. (I also bought Halo 1 - I've been playing a pirate copy for that long I was starting to feel a bit guilty.. ).

Civ4 is another good strat game... the best PC games are strat games... dunno why but I've always preferred my PS1/2/P for racing games and the like.

HL2 + CS: S is definitely a must. Quake and UT2004 are also kinda standard games that should be in your collection. As is Diablo 2 - someone already mentioned it.

Dungeon Keeper is kinda a mix between Strat and RPG. It's bloody legendary - but also about 10 years old.

CSS(counter strike source) is awesome, btu if you get roller coaster tycoon you should get #3 platinum, has all expansions, 1 disc. Also its an old gane but it's still good: Delta Force: Black Hawk Down

I would say World of Warcraft (hehe yeah it's too addicting). I would also get Starcraft 2 when it comes out and if you like FPS games, get Enemy Territory: Quake Wars that was just relased a week or 2 ago.
