On some machines, I have WLM 8.x with MP Live 4.23.
On others, I need to stay with MSN 7.0.820 with MP 3.63.
Now, with 3.63, I dont know how to import the getip.plsc script which works well on 4.23
In case that 3.63 needs a different format of plugins: where can I find such an old style plugin that reveals my contacts IP?

Messenger Plus! 3.63 uses Plugins (DLL Files); Messenger Plus! Live 4.23 uses Scripts (PLSC Files). As for an IP Address Plugin, it appears one was never created for Messenger Plus! 3.63. Sorry

Many thanks to Dane and Chris4. Good to understand what works.
Fortunately, some of my messaging partners have dial up connections, so (!IPN) will tell me what I need for VNC.
For PC illiterates, this seems easier than Execute:cmd and cmd:ipconfig /all.
I tested (!IP) too, but Messenger did not react to it.
