Colour has decided not to show up.... by MattyRid on 11-05-2007 at 08:54 AM

The montage attached shows it all. How it has happened I'm not sure at all....this morning it was fine and now it just happens to show up as shown the the screen montage below.

I've installed nothing today that would cause it to change or anything.

Things I have tried:
- Removed other addons (Stuffplug and MessengerDiscovery)
- Open and Closed the Contact List
- Restart Messenger
- Cleared the Contact Cache

Other Details:
Windows XP Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600)
Windows Live Messenger 8.5.0816
Messenger Plus! Live 4.23.0.276

Not sure if it's a bug or not but it certainly is strange

I tried to reproduse it with no luck.  I thought it may have been something to do with Plus! not doing its formating stuff while the window is being created but it worked fine.  I'm even using XP

That's what I first thought when I saw it in a conversation with a friend, that was until I saw it in the contact list as well. The thing is though I just have no idea how it's happened. After all, nothing new has been installed, etc.

Definitely has me baffled.

EDIT: I managed to fix the problem...I had to remove myself completely and then re-add myself.
