corkscrew on cygwin - Printable Version

i'm running remotely anywhere for the ssh server mainly,
but i'm trying to implement corkscrew,
so i downloaded cygwin and tried to compile it and i got this:

i searched google and everyone else said it compiled fine, so i downloaded the full cygwin package and it still doesn't work.
anyone know why?

Did you edit the file in Notepad or something? It looks like you have Windows-style linebreaks (\r\n) when Cygwin expects Unix-style (\n).

Yeah as WDZ said, also have you changed the .extenstion?

haven't changed anything at all
installed gusty and going to try get it to work
but i still would prefer it on windows

on gusty i got this

are you using dos linebreaks mode?

and on gutsy, did you apt-get install build-essential?

where do i set my line break mode,
i haven't changed anything in cygwin

i only installed it 4 hours ago

i have since got corkscrew to work , but any one know how to make it work with remotely anywhere?
