Heya,
because beta testers and some privileged sites are now allowed to post information about the soon-to-be Messenger Plus! Live 4.50, some articles have started to pop-out on the web. Just wondering if the scripting capabilities will be expanded in the new version?
Other than that... great job. Everything looks and sounds cool. Now I just need them to FEEL cool and for that I need to use them!!

I dont think there has been that much worry about 9.0 compatability. Patchou may look at checking that with some of the last builds before the 4.50 release, but I think that his first priority is to make sure everything works fine with 8.5 and 8.1.

Im glad he is going to make V9 compatibility, because right now im on dialup speeds for exceeding my limit and im WAAAY to lazy to uninstall 9 and reinstall 8.5, change directory and re-install. Plus downloading them both again

I'm the one trying to do the old school skin for WLM 8.5 (you will be able to downgrade the look to 8.1/8.0, 8.0 beta 1 and maybe 7.5 in the future)... but this is getting harder and harder everytime... I hope I can get it on time for MP!L 4.5 release...
I'm now working on 8.1/8.0 skin and waiting for 8.0 beta 1 resources from somebody
that is helping me with this!!!

well ill certainly have a go at skinning but they said scripting was easy and i couldnt figure that out so once released i guess ill be the benchmark that tests just how idiot proof skinning really is lol

well patchgous last post on it said sometime this week, im just as eager as anyone to get hold of the new plus unfortunately its release is out of our hands all we can do is waiting, constantly hounding patchou will only slow his progress in finishing it and therefore only serve to make you wait longer.

Hopefully just a few days until release now, there are just some WLM 9 bugs that are being ironed out, but skinning is the must have feature, not WLM 9 compatibility .

Have some respect man, Patchou has been very busy working on this build to make sure it's perfect for public release. Announced time frames always change, due to certain circumstances. Patience is a virtue.
