Windows media player always running by Jimbo on 12-05-2007 at 07:23 AM

When i look in processes, whenever i turn my computer on wmplayer is always running, but the media player doesnt show up on screen. So whenever i double click any of my music, it plays, but i cant go to next track, stop, pause etc. Why does it load on startup and not display the window?

RE: Windows media player always running by ShawnZ on 12-05-2007 at 07:26 AM

I'm sure you probably done this, but I'll just make sure before digging into the registry. Have you done a complete un-install/re-install?

Check all the "Run" keys in the registry too... It's easier if you search for "RunOnce" and go up a couple of keys
