windows mobile autocomplete by Jarrod on 12-14-2007 at 08:02 AM

i got my new o2 flame it pwns but when i make a spelling mistake (or forget a space like hello4) it commits it to the autocomplete but i obviously don't want it 2.
so how do i edit the autocomplete?

tried settings?
Tell me which OS your O2 has. I've used Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.0 (Custom ROM) :) I'll try getting you the exact option :)

you's think settings>personal>input>word completion would be of some use but no it only tells you after how many letters to appear and random options like that, it's on a flame the appearance reminds me of windows media center edition 1/2 way between xp and vista (wm5 and wm6)... but i think it may just be wm5 the rom version is: WWE_RC1070309

tbh mine doesn't do that.. all it does is makes "Ive" into "I've" and things like that. It wouldn't make "l8" into "late" or "l 8" for that matter (not that I use sms lang.. I love using my qwerty keypad (l))

no i mean the auto complete not the auto correct, the box above the keypad that tries to predict the word your spelling
i love the letter reconizer
picture of what i mean attached

I expect it will expire out of the memory if it is unused, and it is giving the correct suggestion first as well. On Motorola, this is what happens, Windows Mobile probably has a larger dictionary though it must remove old, unpopular words to keep going.

DictMgr is a nice freeware editor that works for my WM5 device to clean up autocomplete, autocorrect, spellchecker and other dictionaries:
