Features:
- Open Skin Directory (/skindir)
- Reset/Open Skin Trace File. (/resettrace, /opentrace)
- Open Skins Directory (/skinsdir)

Hopefully more features will be added in the future. Enjoy.

Good idea, I'll think about it when it's done.
RE: [Release] SkinTools by warmth on 12-16-2007 at 01:05 AM

thanks for that vikke :P!!!!

EDIT: mate I think you should display the Trace file options only if the file exist... no always... UPDATE: my friend I think you must check if the documentation file exist... if don't maybe download it...

SUGGESTIONS: add a download PlusSkins.xsd to the skin folder option and a compile feature 8-) (like the one in @ScriptDev :P)

RE: [Release] SkinTools by vikke on 12-16-2007 at 10:15 AM

I don't have the URL to the skinning documentation online, so I'm not sure if I can download the latest version, I'll look into it.
And in next release, I will see if the Skin Trace.txt exists before opening it. :)

;)!!! nice my friend... thanks a lot...

RE: [Release] SkinTools by aNILEator on 12-16-2007 at 11:28 AM

Might I suggest adding a restart command.

It would be really good if you could code your own so it only closed the last instance of messenger and signed in with the same email

(I try and use polygamy to stop annoying people with pop ups whilst testing changes to my skin and it's annoying having to press cancel or change my auto-sign in also my quicktext for /restart calls the MPLTools.exe restart function which closes all instances of messenger, good for most stuff, bad for polygamy)

This script only:

- Open Skin Directory (/skindir) << Open the folder of your skin when you send this command.
- Reset/Open Skin Trace File. (/resettrace, /opentrace) << Erase / Open the error log if there's any when you send that command.
- Open Skins Directory (/skinsdir) << Open "Skins" folder (Program Files/Messenger Plus! Live/Skins if default installation)
- Open Skinning Documentation (/skindoc) << Open/Download the basic help file
RE: [Release] SkinTools by vsh0rty on 05-15-2009 at 06:29 PM

hey. where do you download the program so i can start trying to make my own ? the one on the side "the official document" that wasen't a program when i downloaded it. is there other places i can download it?

RE: [Release] SkinTools by keep the faith on 05-15-2009 at 06:44 PM

I first download notepad xml editor 2007 but faced a bit difficulty then decided to try another program which was suggested in the document.. which is altova sml editor.. u can find it here:
http://www.altova.com/xml-editor/

but each program had it's unique feature.. to me, altova was a nice program for me as a beginner.. (and i am still a beginner lol)

good luck

RE: [Release] SkinTools by stuartbennett on 05-15-2009 at 07:29 PM

i love xml editor i use it all the time.

RE: [Release] SkinTools by stuartbennett on 07-02-2009 at 07:37 AM

vikke can you provide us with a link to whatever site your hosting version 2 on please? i only have version 1 and you don't appear to have ever submited your script to the database as a standard search for it on he database brings up no results.
