Toobar names on multiple accounts by 525047 on 12-15-2007 at 05:22 PM

If you have multiple accounts minimised to the toobar they all look the same "Windows Live Messenger". Is there any way to get the account name on the toolbar too instead?

I take this is polygamy.

The only indication of which account is which is when you hover your mouse over the little buddies in the system tray, it'll then give you your email address and status.

The only work around for this is to have both accounts on a different status (ie one set to busy the other set to online) to help you differentiate.

Yep, provided you have Messenger Plus! 4.50 and the option "Display the e-mail of the current user in the systray tooltip" enabled.

Plus! > Preferences > Custmize! > General > "Display the e-mail of the current user in the systray tooltip"

Yep, and with a script like Status Icon you can also see this different status icon in the taskbar button.

But, an extra option in Plus! to also show the current user's email in the titlebar of the contactlist window (which makes that you will also see it in the taksbar button) would be nice.

Until something like that is added to Plus!, you could make an additional script to do it. It would be a small easy script. Or maybe this is something to be added in Status Icon, since it already has all the needed code for it.
