I've re-arranged some buttons in the conversation window and now they seem to start of in the "pressed" state. Does anybody know why this is happening or how I can fix it?

Just bumping this cuz it's been a while and I still haven't found a cause.
I've attached an image incase it wasn't clear what the problem is...

sounds stupid but, absolutely sure you replaced the right images with the right images?

They're not multi-images... ARE THEY?! 
EDIT: I think it's the transparent buttons anyway so my inital panic is calming down now
