I don't see why all the writers have to do it. They should only do it to crap tv show like *ahem* *ahem*. I want 24!

Looks like skyone wont have it anytime soon. It says nothing on there website and google gives nothing. They had a 24 day yesterday (the whole of season 6) could this be a clue?

Although the consequences of this strike are not enjoyable, what they're asking for is perfectly normal and we've seen several examples of that in the past years. I just hope they get what they deserve by the studios and stopped being treated like they're not worth a dime.

at the moment there isn't a start date for series 7 of 24.  it had initially been put back to January 13th, but that date has now been cancelled.

They've said that they'll start broadcasting if/when the writers strike is resolved so that they can show the series without any kind of prolongued break.

I haven't really followed the strike honestly, I know it happened and I know a lot of shows have been canceled for it. And although I haven't read of informed myself about the reasons of this, I see most of the actors and animators taking sides by the writers, so I guess everyone seems to agree, soemone's not right by the producers.

On a happier note, David letterman managed to sign a deal, bringing his show and Craig Fergusson's back on air after 2 months of re-runs : makes me thinks it's coming down soon.

Series wouldn't exist without great writers... some writers are true geniuses in what they do, they do deserve more... they don't deserve to be forgotten...

My opinion? RAISE THE GODDAMN HOUR RATE AND BE DONE WITH THIS CRAP!

At least Stargate Atlantis is going ahead as scheduled. Gotta love them Canadians.

Also, Torchwood is scheduled to start on the 16th of January... gotta love them English.

As for Heroes, and 24... I'm not sure.

Even though they're striking, the writers still do make quite a lot of money, so they can probably survive a pretty long strike.

They're asking to get payed a little more, which is reasonable imo.
