I've downloaded a couple of videos to put onto my phone and they don't work because they need to be converted to MP4. does anyone know a program I can use to convert the video.

Thanks its working im just wondering whats the best program i should use to download the video like limewire or torrents?

Either one is fine.
Note that when you encode to mp4 you got to make it the same size for your VX8700 (LG Shine Flip) which is 320x240
So when you are encoding I'd assume it'll ask you what resolution you want it to be. So set to 320x240
