No Script Menus? by BrutalAl on 01-19-2008 at 08:31 AM

Ok, so I understand that severals of the scripts i got running have menus (with settings for the script) of their own, but... where are they, I havent found a single script-menu so far :S?

there should be a script button that looks like 3 blocks, that should list all scripts running.

Also remember that not every script has a menu. To list all scripts running, open Messenger Plus! Live's Preferences window, and click Scripts.

I know they have menus because their ReadMes talk about different settings. I havent seen that script button but yeah I'm aware of the Scripts section in Plus! Preferences that lists all scrips but how does that help me to get to each scripts own menu?

(double-clicking on any scrip in this list only brings up the scrips... script)

so you don't see you nickname and personal message (which you can edit your personal message anyway)? I'd find that hard to believe, how about posting your contact list window and perhaps we can work out if it is there or not :)

OK that's strange...here is how to fix it..

If you go Plus! -> Preferences -> Messenger -> "Add Messenger Plus! buttons in the contact list and the contact cards" should be ticked.

RE: No Script Menus? by vikke on 01-19-2008 at 10:02 AM

Looks like you've patched your Messenger with Mess Patch or A-Patch, the patch has removed some buttons in the toolbar, so Plus! cannot find where to insert the button.
To fix this, run your patch-program again, and enable every buttons in the contact list toolbar. Hopefully this should work.

I can't see scripting menu's either. Got the latest of both messenger and Plus, can't see what is being mentioned by everyone.

Here is what my main messenger window looks like:

Here it says Plus icons should be shown:

What else is there to try? Or is it possible that Plus isn't updated for v14?

This thread is over a year old. And Plus! is compatible with the latest release. Did you use any patches on Windows Live Messenger?

RE: No Script Menus? by Emerald Emblem on 02-16-2009 at 10:32 PM

Ah, sorry, Tiredness and all that, this problem was driving me nuts. But I haven't patched it at all...Unless you mean installing other things with the installation of live messenger.
