[Suggestion] Use Office's proofing engine during IM by riahc4 on 01-21-2008 at 09:53 PM

Hey

Im wondering if there is any way to use Office's proofing engine during IM. Mispelled words could be underlined in red ~ lines, right clicking on a word would give suggestions, grammer, etc. Autocorrect could be supported.

And Office supports multiple dictionaries so language support wouldnt be a problem.

Been asked before. red squiggle can't be done in scripting (well not easily anyway, if you can find some code online of what we need then we might be able to give it a go). please search before asking, blah blah blah [/generic response that has been given a thousand times already and would be easily able to be searched for if you knew what you were doing and acted like the regular that you are, you should know better ¬¬]

A tech (coughcoughcookiecoughcough) explanation about why it cant be done would be better.

deAd's reply to [Release] Spellchecker!
In that post deAd said it was impossible.  I trust him when it comes to coding.  You don't need an explanation if someone with experience says that it can't be done, just accept it and move on.

Also you should have bumped that thread or [Request] underline spell checker instead of making 2 of your own.

There is an add-on that apparently makes the red sqiuggle, but I'm not sure if that was just photoshopped.
