A poll to see the forum's opinion about who will win the Champions League trophy. You can also post why you think the team will get it. RE: Champions League by Oxy on 01-22-2008 at 09:47 PM I've picked the two teams i think will be in the final, but i don't know who will win it. RE: Champions League by Basilis on 01-22-2008 at 09:58 PM You really think Inter can make it to the final? I mean they get disqualified every year, sometimes because of bad luck and others because other teams play better against them. Who knows? They may get back to the good old times, when they won the trophy two times in a row. RE: Champions League by Oxy on 01-22-2008 at 10:02 PM
quote:Their form in Seria A this season has been outstanding. (will be watching their game sunday) And arsenal are well capable of putting a run together. my two cents. RE: Champions League by Basilis on 01-22-2008 at 10:08 PM I see your point. From this view, it is very possible to happen. RE: Champions League by Jhrono on 01-22-2008 at 10:10 PM Man. Utd will win it... RE: Champions League by Basilis on 01-23-2008 at 02:18 PM Why you think so? Man.United won almost all their games with difficulty. I think someone is going to find their weak point. Everything can happen in Champions League RE: Champions League by Panos on 01-23-2008 at 08:55 PM The team I support is Olympiacos and I would be happy if he won the competition. Olympiacos has a great team with talented players at least the last year and up to now has made a great march in the Champions league. However all these years he he has been really unlucky. I mean there is no other team that has lost by three goals in 89' in all their three away matches in a year. There are many good teams in the league but to tell the truth if Olympiacos does his best he can make it even to the semi-finals. RE: Champions League by Basilis on 01-23-2008 at 09:04 PM My vote goes to Olympiacos and Milan. I think that as panos said, if Olympiacos can be a bit luckier, then I am sure he has a future in this competition. Milan is just one of the teams that can win the trophy just with their name RE: Champions League by Panos on 01-23-2008 at 10:03 PM
Except for Olympiacos the teams that in my opinion will show what they got in the Champions league are : RE: Champions League by John Anderton on 01-24-2008 at 06:43 AM
quote:! PS: Why the fuck are we allowed to select 2 teams? RE: Champions League by SikStyles on 01-24-2008 at 06:53 AM
quote: Better ask NanaFreak why did he select all teams.. RE: Champions League by blackjack on 01-24-2008 at 07:13 AM
My 3 choices RE: Champions League by John Anderton on 01-24-2008 at 09:18 AM
quote:Simpler answer. He's an idiot who didn't care about the thread. Just vote accurately. If you don't care, leave the thread alone blackjack: Quite sadly Real is sucking quite badly else after Man Utd, they'd get my vote (my dad likes them too ) GOGO MANCHESTER UNITED! RE: Champions League by Basilis on 01-24-2008 at 05:16 PM I may think Man.United is not going to make it to the final, but I am glad we(Olympiacos) won't face them in the 16 stage. At least, Chelsea may be in a bad day when we will play them. But Man.United wins its games even if it has a bad day. RE: Champions League by Oxy on 01-24-2008 at 05:31 PM
quote:agreed, anybody who usually plays up (im aiming at sport > sport wars, sonicsams or ebfl's) just leave this alone. RE: Champions League by Basilis on 01-24-2008 at 06:44 PM
quote: Because I wanted to give people the chance to vote the two teams that they think will make it to the final. I couldn't imagine that NanaFreak would vote for all the teams. RE: RE: Champions League by blackjack on 01-24-2008 at 07:03 PM
quote: Real sucking? i dont think so they won Madrid derby, and against Barcelona (recent one) that proves me right, they are doing Ok RE: Champions League by Basilis on 01-27-2008 at 11:00 AM Don't forget that Olympiacos could have defeated Real by 1-4 in their match in Bernabeu. But the referee didn't give a foul to Olympiacos and in the continue of the phase Real scored the equalizer 2-2. The foul was committed on the defender that was missing from the defense and so Robinho found the opportunity to score. Just to mention that Real can be beaten. RE: RE: Champions League by blackjack on 01-27-2008 at 06:39 PM
quote: I never said the opposite Of course any team can be beaten Real Madrid is doing ok except for Copa del Rey =/ RE: Champions League by Justin on 01-30-2008 at 12:27 AM Id like to see the team i support win (Arsenal) there playing brilliantly this season despite there loss to Tottenham . Barcelona have a brilliant chance with the players they got even though Rolandinho is a bit off form they still got Henry which is a big help to any team. RE: Champions League by Basilis on 01-30-2008 at 01:31 PM This is a case that it is very possible to happen since both barcelona and arsenal have great players in their rosters. We all have to wait till 19 February to watch Champions League again... RE: Champions League by Basilis on 02-01-2008 at 03:31 PM PLEASE: Don't vote all the teams. I say this for Dazzy and NanaFreak that possibly know nothing about football and just voted for fun. RE: Champions League by Ash_ on 02-19-2008 at 02:52 PM
I'm gonna say Chelsea, i hope Liverpool crash out against Inter lol, i don't want Rafa to get the sack though lol. I LOVE RAFA BENITEZ! im an Everton Supporter btw ahahaha RE: Champions League by Basilis on 02-19-2008 at 05:26 PM So you think Chelsea will overcome Olympiacos? RE: Champions League by Justin on 02-19-2008 at 05:39 PM I dont see why they wouldn't there playing great lately, 3rd in the Premiership, Chelsea will win, even though i hate them RE: Champions League by Basilis on 02-19-2008 at 06:31 PM I do think so. But I think they will win by luck or with the referee's help. Olympiacos has the most bad luck I saw in a team and also he is always being under bad referee decisions. I am watching him for over 10 years in Champions League and I can't stand anymore the bad luck and the referee. I have come to a point which I think that if Anelka touches the ball with his hand the referee will say " I saw a white hand touching the ball saw it is a penalty for Chelsea". It may sound unbelievable but believe me, when you watch Olympiacos in Champions League you can see what bad luck means. RE: Champions League by Justin on 02-19-2008 at 06:36 PM Tbh, i dont think Chelsea need any help from the ref or anyluck, Chelsea is a better side. RE: Champions League by Basilis on 02-19-2008 at 06:48 PM Werder Bremen, Lazio and Real were better sides but Olympiacos showed them what Greek soul means. He deserved to be first although at the beginning he was an outsider. RE: Champions League by Basilis on 02-20-2008 at 02:29 PM Finally, Olympiacos - Chelsea ended in a draw. Now everything will be determined in London. RE: Champions League by Eddie on 02-20-2008 at 02:32 PM in a biased opinion Chelsea will win it this season, but unbiased we will have to play way better than we did last night if we hope to get to the lift the trophy, i think we will end up playing Liverpool or Barcelona in the final knowing our luck though RE: Champions League by Oxy on 02-20-2008 at 02:34 PM
Yes, but we all know this is chelsea's tie to win. quote:Blasphemy! RE: Champions League by Basilis on 02-20-2008 at 04:51 PM Eddie, you think Olympiacos can take something from Chelsea in Lonodn? RE: Champions League by Basilis on 02-21-2008 at 04:22 PM
So those are the results of the first leg: RE: Champions League by Justin on 03-04-2008 at 09:42 PM
Arsenal are through RE: Champions League by Oxy on 03-04-2008 at 09:46 PM
quote:that would mean resetting everybody's votes. RE: Champions League by Basilis on 03-04-2008 at 09:54 PM
Oxy is right. I had done the first time and all the votes got deleted. Maybe I should start a new voting after the last 16 round is finished. RE: Champions League by Basilis on 03-07-2008 at 10:30 PM Edited the poll with the teams that passed through the round of last 16. RE: Champions League by Oxy on 03-07-2008 at 11:25 PM
Pft, i'm not going to bother voting if it's just gonna get deleted... RE: Champions League by toddy on 03-07-2008 at 11:28 PM
quote:i'm not, doesn't stop me voting tho RE: Champions League by John Anderton on 03-08-2008 at 01:04 PM
Manchester United all the way!! RE: Champions League by Justin on 03-08-2008 at 01:40 PM
I still think Arsenal are going to win it, they put on a spectacular performance at the San Siro. RE: Champions League by Eddie on 03-08-2008 at 02:05 PM Chelsea overpowered Olympiakos in the second leg of their match, and are playing really well at the moment, my bias and non-bias opinion is Chelsea RE: Champions League by matt on 03-18-2008 at 06:15 PM
quote: maybe barcelona..... RE: Champions League by Svip on 03-18-2008 at 06:24 PM I picked them all because I could. RE: Champions League by Oxy on 03-18-2008 at 06:28 PM

quote:whats with this "your"? for one: its you're for two: see toddy's reply to Champions League and btw, yes they (liverpool) will win RE: Champions League by Oxy on 03-18-2008 at 11:06 PM I hoping the arse will be focused on winning back the league, and with liverpool having nothing else to play for, we should have the edge. RE: Champions League by Justin on 03-18-2008 at 11:13 PM
I dought they will be more focused getting the league back. Wenger has never won the Champions League before, so I think he will be more interested in winning that. RE: Champions League by matt on 03-19-2008 at 08:37 PM
I'm quite lost here. When is the champions league! RE: Champions League by toddy on 03-19-2008 at 08:41 PM
