I am in school full time in my 3rd year for Network Administration, and I own a financial services company and am Life Insurance rep in Ontario (just a waiting the paper license to arrive).

Some AdSense, some tax refunds (here everybody has right of income, if no other income you get the amount a working person wouldn't have to pay taxes over..it's not much but better than nothing), otherwise living on boyfriend's income (it's been other way around for years before too, before my health started preventing me having a payed job).

I don't mind telling, i'm quite open about it (you won't hear me complain about it left and right tho ;) ).

At 29/30 I had a ganglion (RSI) on my right wrist, got operated but my wrist never became the same again (no more heavy lifting or too many repetitive things)...turns out I still have a nerve blockage in my right wrist/hand (non fixable). In 2006 I got told I have a Connective Tissue Disease, which one is still not known. Sofar it causes Raynauds (the secondary version, so severe I need meds when it's cold to control it), fatigue and muscle aches.

No problem. Thanks for your kind words :) Unfortunately there is no cure, just symptom relief. Maybe some day in the future....

I'd really do anything to be as I was before all this again, full of energy, strong, able to walk all day and dance all night. Life just aint fair, just gotta accept ( isn't always easy) and make the best of it.

RE: What is your current Job/Profession? by markee on 01-26-2008 at 02:00 PM

I'm a full-time student in a double degree, Business (majoring in Accountancy) and Mathematics.

As a job I work as a "Junior Data Analyst" where I write regex to get financial information out of emails, or fix other people's regex.  I also do some Quality Assurance if they are running low on people.  If it wasn't for this forum (and more specifically, Cookie for telling me I should learn regex) then I probably wouln't have even taken notice of the job.

I can't say I own any companies. However, I have a glider pilot license, am studying software development, and working some night shifts at a gas station. :)
