It's okay. The graphics card is a bit below spec, and the motherboard is about to become old tech (nForce 7 is coming out real soon, or is already out...).

But apart from that, tis all good. Especially for like £500.

Thanks, I will think about that.

Graphics card and Hdd are overpriced. Don't plan on playing any recent games on that graphics card either.

What do you mean by overpriced?

getting 8600.

Meaning if you were in Australia a 400gb hdd would cost you around $90 Canadian and the Graphics card would cost around $60 Canadian.

The 8600gt wouldn't do much better than the 8500gt. If you have decided you can only afford the 8600gt you may as well get a 7600gt as they are cheaper and perform better. The only bad thing about them is that there is no DX10 support (which doesn't matter seeing as the 8600 can barely play DX10 games).

This is wrong. While the new GT range compares to the old GS range, with the latest nVidia drivers the 8600GT outperforms the 7600GT by a large margin. The 7900GS is still slightly ahead of the 8600GT: You can compare results here - you need to check the subsequent pages for the numbers.

They should try turning on AF.

Edit: They also chose the games that the 8600gt does well in. Go look at a few other reviews and you will see that the 8600gt is a POS that can barely beat a cheaper card in games it has been optimized for.
