this is different to my other post on vm's i set my vm up and in my router's arp it has the ip address of the vm but i can't ping the vm using that ip address i want to be able to ssh into it from behind the router but all the port checkers i use say the port times out

Is the VM network setup in bridge mode?

yep 192.168.1.5 but can't use that to ping from any other pc
