falsemsnmsgr.exe by Mike_Luchia on 02-03-2008 at 10:40 PM

Hi all, I'm trying to get the Poligami script running.  I have all the latest of both Messenger Plus, WLM and the Poligami script.  When the second account is trying to be started, I get a message saying that falsemsnmsgr.exe  is missing.

Any idea why this is happening, where I can get falsemsnmsgr.exe from and where it would go on my computer?

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike

Yes I have made that change after finding it in the forum.  Still not working.  The only post in the forum that I didn't understand is the one that said it work, but the had to make a copy of MSN named falsemsnmsgr.exe.

maybe you could go into your WLM directory and make a copy msnmsgr.exe then rename it to falsemsnmsgr.exe

Thanks for the suggestion, however it did not work.  I wonder if it is because of another problem I have been having.  Even though I have the first instance of Messenger that I want to run set to sign in automatically, and the box for that is checked, it still sits there and waits for me to click connect.  Anybody have any ideas what might be causing that and then perhaps the other suggestions might work.

Thanks again,

Mike

Well I found the answer to Messenger not logging in the first account automatically, I didn't have it turned on within Messenger itself.  This has not, however, fixed the the problem with the script not working still.

I'm having the same problem too, anyone has a clue?

This is in Windows Vista.
