Buying nintendo wii online? by .Roy on 03-10-2008 at 07:11 PM

Yeah well, after seeing Super Smash Brothers Brawl I think I've decided into buying nintendo wii.

can anyone recommend an online store that ships world-wide?

edit: I would prefer a store that accepts paypal.

Maybe your best bet is eBay Israel .. which I think you may know is located here.

Thing is, I don't have an ebay account, and I doubt people will want to do business with a 1 day old account without any past positive trades -.-'.

Well, maybe ask a well known person on here to buy it for you and you send them the money via PayPal?

Most do if you email them first stating you are about to buy the item etc. All you can do is try, the worst that will happen is that the seller doesnt allow uou to purchase the item

Also, a way around the 1 day old account is to buy the Nintendo Wii using the Buy It Now feature and paying within 5 minutes of ordering.

If it's an auction then they can't refuse to sell it to you.  If you win the auction then that constitutes a legally binding contract, whether your account is 1 day old, or 10 years old

It's not the buyer who needs a good rep, it's the seller.

The buyers out there can be complete arses though...my dad runs into these guys all the time on ebay who just keep on upping the price and end up not winning it in the end >.> I swear some of them get around the "No bidding one after the other" rule or something...it's really annoying.

Actually, be careful with PAL/NTSC, i don't think the wii can switch between them

! Another thing, look REALLY close at the description and make sure they aren't just trying to sell you the box. o-o
