VLC's YUV options - Where Are They? by ryxdp on 03-15-2008 at 01:28 AM

I've figured out the same problem with WMP; apparently it was the YUV flipping options. VLC, however, has resorted to peer pressure and (somehow) flipped its YUV as well. I've looked through the Preferences and found nothing that works.

Thanks :P

Could try resetting the options in VLC?

Just tried that, still the same...

I'm going to reinstall VLC and clear out my registry, see what happens. If it's still the same, I'm going to assume it's the codecs.

EDIT: Reinstalling didn't do anything, VLC doesn't like any video at all for some reason. DivX .avis, .flvs and .mp4s in particular, seeing as i don't have any other filetypes on here...VLC works fine with these on the school computers. I'm stumped.

I once had a similar problem, but I think it was for Winamp?
anyway, it turned out to be the settings for my video driver itself.
