Hi, I've had msn live messenger 8.1 for over a month now since I upgraded to it and every time someone messages me or when I'm chatting with someone my msn would freeze and then come back after a minute or so..It's getting really annoying, I've tried reinstalling msg plus + msn messenger but no go. I've removed all the registry keys when uninstalling but it still freezes..if someone can help, thanks!

1) Does it do the same if you uninstall everything related to messenger including Plus!, and install only messenger?
2) Do you have any Plus! scripts activated?

Have you go any other ad-dons installed that are attached to messenger? Have you installed any programs that logs MSN chats or events. I had a problem with other programs logging msn and it slowed down my MSN. (then i found plus..).

Try upgrading to 8.5 and see if that helps..

I only have plus! and msn live installed, and even if I only installed live messenger without plus! it still freezes. I don't have any other scripts running and I disabled chat logs in plus! as well but it didn't help. I'll try installing live 8.5 and report back...
