That's what this research seems to say. RE: Buggy Vista? Blame Nvidia. by Quantum on 03-28-2008 at 11:55 PM I don't have NVIDIA but i would say its true enough. RE: Buggy Vista? Blame Nvidia. by ShawnZ on 03-29-2008 at 12:00 AM

I'd have to agree with it, the only real problems I've ever had so far with Vista have all been bluescreens caused by the drivers. RE: Buggy Vista? Blame Nvidia. by Baggins on 03-29-2008 at 12:40 AM TICALC.SYS has caused the only BSOD since upgrading to SP1 for me. I have still had some freeze-ups, mostly caused by firefox. YouTube fullscreen player doesn't like me. RE: Buggy Vista? Blame Nvidia. by Eddie on 03-29-2008 at 02:42 AM

quote:Yeah I agree, not for me either. It's share is that big because of the early drivers. RE: Buggy Vista? Blame Nvidia. by vaccination on 03-29-2008 at 08:47 AM
Yeah I saw this article earlier, would be nice to have some kind of info on timescale/vista build numbers because most of those would of been the early Nvidia drivers which caused hell for most people RE: Buggy Vista? Blame Nvidia. by Jimbo on 03-29-2008 at 06:38 PM
quote:Exactly the same with me, but after i upgraded to SP1 RTM, ive had no BSODs as of yet RE: Buggy Vista? Blame Nvidia. by ShawnZ on 03-29-2008 at 11:02 PM
quote: that could have something to do with the fact that only drivers can cause bluescreens (and memory corruption) |
