Buggy Vista? Blame Nvidia. by albert on 03-28-2008 at 11:52 PM

That's what this research seems to say.
I personally believe that the results seems truthfull enough, but maybe that's my GE Force 6150 Go's rage talking.

What do you guys think about this?
True, false?

definately true, but none of the recent drivers have ever crashed for me :p

I'd have to agree with it, the only real problems I've ever had so far with Vista have all been bluescreens caused by the drivers.

Having said that, I haven't had a problem recently so (yn)

TICALC.SYS has caused the only BSOD since upgrading to SP1 for me. I have still had some freeze-ups, mostly caused by firefox. YouTube fullscreen player doesn't like me. :(

Make sure anyone with Nvideo secures a copy of XP before it's taken away for good:O(if you haven't already) just in case the problem isn't patched up in time.

Yeah I agree, not for me either. It's share is that big because of the early drivers.

Yeah I saw this article earlier, would be nice to have some kind of info on timescale/vista build numbers because most of those would of been the early Nvidia drivers which caused hell for most people :P

No troubles for a while though, Vista's been running smoothly for me for ages now

that could have something to do with the fact that only drivers can cause bluescreens (and memory corruption)
