Hello guys...
I have 5.1 speakers, i have them all plugged in correctly i have done numerous checks, but for some reason my music only plays through the speakers and subwoofer, any advice?

Using Windows Vista, managed to resolve the issue, Windows Vista makes you select "Fill Speakers" for it to work in 5.1 -.- Thanks anyway 
Will keep thread for future reference

If you are using a stereo source, you will get stereo output.
