Hey, I have what to me is a strange problem as an image is not colorizing in some places but is in others. Ive got an attachment which shows an example of this in the contact list window. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Also, does anyone know if it is possible to colourize the sign in animation and the sign in buton on the sign in window? I have tried adding:

                                <Metadata>
                                    <Colorize>true</Colorize>
                                </Metadata>

to try to colourize it but it doesnt work.

i didn't even know that thas was colorizable...anyways...checked if you used the colorize metadata on all them, including custom code?

it doesn't work on everything might not work on png's with the anim tag attached, Dunno if you could replace it with a custom element at all and get it to animate *-)

As nile said it does not work on everything. The following is a list of things that can't be colorized:

bmp resources
ico files
certain icons
certain elements that you put in the contact list
anything in a drop down menu
now playing icon
sign in animation
status animation
emoticons

This is what i know of in 8.5, from what I understand 9.0 is a lot more trickier with colorization, nile can vouch for that :P

Ok well thanks anyway...guess I'll have to make a more neutral sign in animation.

But still, does anyone know why the higlighter thing isnt colourizing on som eicons but not others?

Some icons will not colorize and the same goes for their mouse overs, its just the way things are and you can't help it :P

Oh, sorry Willz didnt relase it ment mouse overs as well
