Some quick knock up based on vistafy screenshot (need to get back to housework >_<)
But yeah something like this? Would be a shaped skin. adding ears to top of contact list and chat windows (maybe not chat windows, would be REALLY odd with tabs 
) or have shaped chat windows like Kitty's face
