Minimise bug by Paddy on 05-05-2008 at 11:55 PM

Windows Live Messenger v8.5.1302.1018
Messenger Plus! Live v4.60.0.324

OS: Vista Home Premium x64 SP1

Bug: Whenever I minimise a window while I have a conversation minimised, the conversation will bring itself to the foreground.

Thanks for the report but this is a known limitation (not a bug) which has also been reported before...

windows bug
converation window automatically opened

It will happen with any window you minimize. The only thing is that the window you minimize must be the last visible window open on your desktop.

Nothing should happen with the contactlist window when you actually close the last visible window on your desktop.

Anyways, this is a known limitation because of how Messenger Plus! handles tabbed conversation windows. Nothing can be done to prevent this, except for disabling tabbed conversations in Messenger Plus!.

just because you know it exists doesn't make it not a bug :p

it isn't a bug but a limitation as I explained. Which is on its turn basedon what Patchou has said. Otherwise I wouldn't say it is a known limitation to begin with....

I already assumed you meant "not a bug". It's also what I replied upon. if he said its a limitation then it is a limitation. A bug is something wrong which happens what you didn't expected. A limitation is something you know will happen but can't do something about it ;)
