How can I be notified when someone open my conversation box in his/her contact list? by Edmundcham on 05-10-2008 at 01:48 AM

Hey guys,

I do remember Messenger Plus does support this feature on msn 7.5. Whenever somoene has open a chatbox with me, a message will pop out and notify me saying " xxx has openned your chatbox", something like that. I'm currently using Windows Live Messenger, I wonder if I can be notified when someone has open a chat box with me? I love this feature very much. Anyone able to help?

Thanks in advance

This is not possible. It has become very unreliable and should not be trusted.

Messenger Plus! never supported this feature to begin with.

What you refer to are plugins which sniffed your network connection for specific server messages. But even back then (with MSN Messenger 7.5) those messages were already highly inaccurate and it already didn't worked anymore...

All this is already explain an unbelievable amount of times on the forums. Always search forums first before asking a question...
