That's it. The competition ended and Spain won the cup. They won all their games having scored 12 goals and conceded 2.

Portugal and Italy, i do not plan to follow any of it, but i do think that they will dominate the competition, shame England didn't qualify, dodgy McClaren.

There was a BBC Report on the Netherlands, on the BBC Website today, pointed out key factors as to why they probably will not win EURO, they haven't won a competition since their only win in 1988, with Gullit and Rijkaard in the team, we will soon see though :)

Ballack is my favourite player at the moment and he's great for Germany, so wouldn't mind seeing them do well.

Also Czech Republic as they have Cech, best goalkeeper in the world at the moment.

Spain are supposed to be strong contenders, as well as France.

Australia is not competing this year and will never compete in Euro but they may compete in the Confederations Cup next year. Is that what you mean?

Eurovision? If it is that, then I don't know if Australia ever competed in it but I don't think they will in the future since it is a competition that is organized by European countries. Specifically, from France, Spain, Germany and United kingdom.

I'm a Man Utd fan but I must admit, Cech is probably the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment :)
As for Chrono supporting Italy, bad call. Don't think they can beat Spain on current form of the two teams. I see a Germany - Netherlands finals :)
Netherlands winning, of course :) Then again, they usually tend to fuck up despite having a good team and form on their side (refer to their past records in big tourneys). I hope they win this year though :)

I still can't believe what happened in this match. Two goals in 3 minutes. It was the first time for both teams to play in a penalty shoot out in such big competition!

I agree that Spain has a better chance on winning it. They are fast and they have good technique and so they are keen to score many goals against Germany. I hope they win.

This tournament was crushed by referees,  :@ even in an international cup they weren't objective.
For example Turkey-Germany match,Busacca and side referee must give up interacting with footbal :D.And referees were unfair to Russia too...

It is true that the referees weren't the best ones but in the specific match, I believe you talk about a moment were Turkey could have got a penalty. Well, the replay showed there was no penalty and in fact, Germany had a moment exactly like that one. I think Turkey played better in the first half but they didn't score more than 1 goal, although they had 16 shots. You should not be angry since Turkey showed a very good team that fights till the end. They have talented players and they can go far in the future. In football, you have to face all parameters, like luck and referees.
