Word. Line skip when enter is pressed. by somelauw on 06-22-2008 at 05:49 PM

Here is some text. When I press enter after this text.

It continues here and skips a line. I don't want this line to be skipped.
But I want it just below instead.

So how do I turn this off?
I'm using word 2000.

Format > Paragraph > Line Spacing > Single

And if you keep it on Double, just press Shift+Enter and it will go only 1 line down :p

After setting some parameter which was set to 10 back to 0, it worked.

That worked too, but I prefer having it set as default.

Shift + Return --> new line, leave the same amount of space that there would be between lines (Line spacing)

Return --> new paragraph, in Word, this looks the same as line spacing unless you change it
