Contact List Clean-up "has you" accuracy by dexluther on 06-29-2008 at 08:29 AM

I was wondering about the accuracy of the "has you" column in the contact list clean up.

How exactly does it determine if the person actually has you on their list, and is there a margin of error. If so, how big is this margin?

My list has over 400 people, and some people have been there forever. I still see them online. If they don't have me on their list, then I'd rather take them off mine as well. I just don't want to remove people marked as not having me if there's a possibility that they actually do.

It is as accurate as the Reverse List in Messenger itself (Tools > Options > Privacy > See who added you > View).

This because Messenger Plus! gets its data directly from Messenger. So in case there would be an inaccuracy, it would be Messenger's fault.

The Contact List-Clean Up is a list derived from your own Contact List, Allow List and Reverse List. So if it is stated that someone doesn't have you on their list, it should be very accurate.
