Mcafee and XoftSpySE treats MsgPLusLive as a Spyware by nox on 07-01-2008 at 02:36 PM

Sorry if wrong section. If it is wrong, please move.

Well, I don't know why, but when I enter at this website,  My McAfee Site Advisor is in red, telling this page can be "dangerous", but I think it isn't. You can see it Here ( Sorry if you see it in spanish, I couldn't find a way to put it in english)

McAfee Site Advising for Msgpluslive (It takes time to load)

Even the XoftSpySE Anti-Spyware sees alot of MsgPlusLive files as a Spyware:

In this image you can see MsgPlusLive, and other program that i installed but i know what it does, and it doesn't have risk, so as I think MsgPlusLive doesn't either:

Oh, and I didn't install the sponsor

hanks for the report. I suggest you email the people at XoftSpySE Anti-Spyware to make them understand the difference between a harmless freeware and a threat.

To show how "accurate" they are, there are several sites which actually link to programs which steal passwords or cause other heavoc to a user's Messenger and/or share warez and are shown as "completely safe", so go figure.....

I don't have the link at this moment, but there are more threads which already report this very same issue with SiteAdvisor and in one of them those links I speak of are shown... You could probably find them with the forum search.

The only low 'risk' there is, is that you can explicitly install the sponsor (it will never ever be installed automatically without the user's explicit approval) and as a result are presented with ads... so, no spyware, nor virusses, nor whatever else, just ads which you explicitly should ask for.
