Fonts and colors by Xantios on 07-10-2008 at 06:49 PM

Hello!

im kinda new to this kind of scripting,so maybe this is kind of a stupid question. and maybe it has been asked before, but i coud not find a anwser.

i have some var's containing a Font name,Colour, and (dont know english word) Opmaak.

how can i change my text font, color, and status of Bold/Italic and so?

is this posible in script or by a dll,and how?

maybe there is a com object to add this?

i hope it can be done in native Jscript. but maybe i schould use some other method, not a big problem ofcourse.

i dont want to use the [c=#random] and [b] tags, because that would made it incompatible with Non-plus users.

i hope some one has a solution?

greetz,Xantios

I don't know the technical stuff, but I've seen people say a few times that scripts cannot do anything to do with fonts unfortunately. Which would explain why scripts can't steal contacts font, colour, etc.

Hope that answers your question.

Yesterday, there was a script released called Usay 1.1 which has the ability to steal everything having to do with fonts. Here it is: http://msgplus.net/scripts/view/72-USay/

i see,but i cant seem to figure out how this script does it.
it is using some home-made dll.
so using it doesnt seems to be posible, because it isnt open source :(

time to build my own dll (6)

edit: installed the script, had a look at the dll,and this script doenst has any functionality to change the text font, size, colour or anything.

so,maybe time for some exeternal solution.
btw,why cant i just do /font <fontname>  that schould not hard to do for the creators of msgplus?
