Hello People

Dont mean to be a bother, but I'm having a few...technical difficulties.

Not long ago I was intruded by an Adware of some kind (I let my guard somwhere) and i have been trying to sort it with some success, but there are still a few things wich i havn't been able to deal with.

I have done the Adware searches, and have got rid of some of it but three things remain.
-Im still being redirected from my home page or any pages i type in on to a "Reported Insecure Browsing: Navigation Blocked"


The links are to "Antiviruse 2008 Pro" wich i have to buy (But i know i dont need to as it's just advertising).

Now First of all, how do I get it to stop re-directing me?

My second question is that, there was a toolbar wich i removed manually. Yet there is still a gap in the toolbar list, but the name has gone. (Here is what i mean).


And thirdly, there is a little notification wich also direct me to more advertising.


Anyone have any ideas?

try uninstalling it from control pannel, or using another tool to uninstall programs found on your computer, CCleaner has this function for instance. You can download a Slim version of CCleaner that has no toolbar or a portable version without an installer etc.

otherwise any good anti-spyware with latest update and definitions should be able to clean up stuff like that

Well i'v tried quite a few, and nothing really seems to give results... and i dont really want to spend money just to get little things like that off my PC.
