With This Script you can:

-Send/Receive Files when you are appearing offline*

-Send Files to appearing offline users**

-Start Audio/Video Chatting with an user who is appearing offline**

-Share Background when you are appearing offline

-Share Background with an user who is appearing offline**

-Add users to the chat when you are appearing offline

-Start Activities and Games when you are appearing offline

-Start Activities and Games with an user who is appearing offline***

*To receive Files the sender must have this script installed
**A Chat session must be initialized
***You must be not appearing offline

How To Use This Script:

Enable It From Plus! Menu or Type In the chat window /A.Offline Helper

[EDIT]FIXED AN IMPORTANT BUG.NOW IT'S POSSIBLE TO SEND OFFLINE MESSAGGES [/EDIT]

Waw I tried to find script like this from a long time ^__^. Sometimes I need to send files even if i  appear offline. It's very useful script indeed and I'll try it!.

I'm unable to download the script from the attachment in this thread: http://shoutbox.menthix.net/attachment.php?pid=921661

When I try, it just downloads a file called "921661" that doesn't have an extension name :S

Thanks :D I was able to download it.

I tried it and it's amazing.

A couple of times the videochat closed by it's own after about ten minutes. I'm gonna try it again latter to see what happens :)

Well i'm just back home and i'll continue my work with 9.0 version.A patched alpha was already sent to SonicSam(not the script just a patched msnmsgr.exe file,remember that my script just changes code on memory).In 9.0 there are lots of changes so it was/is hard to update my script(not so difficult but longer).Moreover i have found out on mess.be blog that a new beta was released and i'm starting to think that it's quite useless to update my script for a older beta...However i'll keep you informed

GuruSupremacy, videocalls hang up by themselves after a while. That has never happened to me when I'm not appearing offline. Could you please look at that?

Is it possible to include in a future version the options so the other can see me through my webcam (without videchatting) or for me to see the other through his/her webcam (also without videochatting)?

Click on the Edit button at the bottom of your post, and when in the edit screen tick the box that says "Subscribe to this thread", and you will receive an email notification when someone makes a new post.

Also, dont write in all caps, its annoying and you are less likely to get help when you do that.

Well,I'm sorry but it's not finished,i had some time this week and so i started to reverse/update the script.Until now with the script you can only send nudges to app. Offline contacts and send files when you are app.offline.I really don't know when it could be finally updated i'm sorry...However if someone is interested i can upload the alpha with this 2 feature..Greetings ;)

I'd enjoy the alpha with only these two functions... Even if there's a chance it may cause errors (I run a HP so I get a lot of them anyway ;) )

With this alpha version you can:

-Send nudges To Appearing Offline Contacts
-Send Files when you are Appearing Offline*(Use the button to send files,i haven't patched the drag & drop yet)

*The user must not be app. Offline


This Version should work fully both on vista and xp,it's bug free but i named alpha because it has only 2 features.I hope to have the time to finish the script soon.Thanks for you comprehension.Greetings!

On install i got the message thats WLM 14.0.08064 is not supported...

I also cant nudge app. offline contacts or send them files...

The script menu says that the script is running, so i guess its some other problem...

It still doesnt seem to work with Vista :(

Getting the same errors as before, and still not functioning

Tried removing it totally, but it didnt help...

I have also noticed that all of your scripts (and none from anyone else) seem to have one other error...
This is when i sign out of messenger, and then sign back in again, I get an alert from all of them to say that messenger 14.0.08064 is not supported, but they still function...
Is there a way you could fix this too?

I am running build 206 and with the latest version of the script says it isn't supported.

Yeah Vista, it worked upon import the first time then after a reboot it said it wasn't supported.

hmmm... i cant send a file to a contact. i am appearing offline and she is online :S ... oh well dont matter all i wanted to do was send nudges to her anyway. just testing stuff out ;)

Your version of Windows Live Messenger is not supported, the script is compatible with version 8.5 and 14.0.8064.206 only.

-DragAndDrop File Enabled
-Now it's possible to send winks to appearing offline users*
-Now It's possible to start audio/video activity with appearing offline users*(You can also start these activity when you are appearing offline and your contact not but to do that you have to use /call /webcam commands or the menu because i have patched buttons only when the user is appearing offline,i will fix this feature in the next update)
-All Menu items are now enabled
I have also started to patch to send files to a.offline users but i have to finish.(Now you can send file without errors but the user will never receive the request)

Ok. i've got a suggestion.

if a contact conversation window is open and i enable appearing offline helper, it seems that i have to reopen the current window to get the nudge and wink button activated ( lit ) so that I can click on it.

yea i get that too, it is a lil annoying if you want to see something that was typed earlier. i do hav logs tho but a good idea would maby be a kind of refresh script or something?

It seems that now server does not send requestes to appearing offline users.I'll check better,but in that case if you are chatting with appearing offline user he must send requestes for activities.(for audio/video and files he must have my script installed)

Well it seems that the server doesn't send requestes to appearing offline clients,so if you want start an activity(video,audio,etc)your friend must send to you the request.For now with the script you can:
