blocking spam messages based on key words by michel7007 on 09-12-2008 at 01:44 PM

From several weeks, I receive daily a lot of messages coming always from agirl, with the following structure :

Alexandria scrive (20.29):
Hey Samuele .....
This is Kelly. My msn keeps stoping but would like to chat.
I am always online here DaleGaypdxt.blogspot.com

Alexandra, Kelly and DaleGaypdxt change each time

the message is always coming from a hotmail.com address like "anything@hotmail.com"

A saw very numerous complains on Internet about this problem, but no solution till now

It should be interesting to be able to block automatically such message based on the content : some words or part of sentence. For example, it is always "stoping" instead of "stopping", "blogspot.com" is in all messages

I found a script for messenger which replace injurious or sexual words by "****" . I suppose that it should not be too difficult to write such a script !

Who can help ? Thanks in advance

Enable the feature where all people are blocked by default except the people you accept in your list.

this is indeed a solution, but in my case i could receive a lot of acceptable messages from people not in my contact list.
It is the reason why I was thinking to use criteria based on words of part of sentences that you will not find in acceptable messages.

This was discussed recently in this thread. I haven't tried it myself, but it should do what you want.
