firefox 3.0.1

windows xp home edition
3.0ghz
1gb ram

I can play all games with high system req. but when i open more than 2 tabs in firefox my computer goes crazy.Is there any solution?

well mine can peak in cpu usage but normally it is about 0 lol... and i have 14 tabs open with 130mb of ram used... what are you looking at with firefox??

mine is %50 cpu usage.it doesn't matter what i lookin at cuz its happen when i open any 2 website

for example
http://www.haberturk.com/ and msgpluslive.net.. i ve this problem for a long time i formatted my pc many times changed firefox version but no effect

that site is very cpu and ram hungry... im now at 30% and 150mb ram =\

That site uses 0 for me still. (Chrome) About 2 in Fx.

it goes 200mb ram and %60 cpu .it isnt normal :S


p.s. ie 6 opens faster and lower cpu&ram usage.

Using adblock on that first turkish page you linked knocks my memory usage down to 71k-kb for it. Same with the second. That is from 84k-kb with those open, and 62k-kb with them closed.

Edit: I would also point out that Chrome's task manager notices a decent (15-30%) CPU usage for SWF on that second page. So, obviously the Flash ads are poorly coded.

[I'm using a Pentium Dual Core 1.8GHz for these tests]

i ve installed adblock.after the block all swf's its seems solved
