advice on new phone ;D by joey on 09-15-2008 at 05:12 PM

i opened my phone out of my bag, and the inside screen has cracked (for some reason in an arrow shape O_o) so now i badly ned a new phone, but dont know what to get.

i do love the nokia xpressmusic 5310 as i have a 5200 and its sort of an upgrade if you will, but i was wondering if there was any other phones worth considering, so long as its not on ebay and wont take about a year to arrive as it hasnt even been made yet :P
my range is £0 to £200 at the very most.. very most as i dont want to blow a large section of my bank account money as i (was) planning on saving up for a drum kit.

anyway, suggestions? i dont have much time!

LG KU250. If you want it simple.

Isn't the nokia n96 out now? Still, I will always recommend SE phones. Get one in the K series (800, 850).

RE: advice on new phone ;D by Basilis on 09-15-2008 at 05:18 PM

Why don't you try buying a SonyEricsson phone? There are some good models that are in your range. Don't ask me to tell you the names of them as I am not so keen in phones but I have seen friends using them without any problems.

But if you plan to buy the Nokia xpressmusic, then go ahead as it is a very good phone. My best friend has it! :)

forgot to say, i love my music, so anything good with music is a plus, and a decent camera but im not so fussed about that. :P
qnd that phoine is tempting Nitro.. =p

RE: advice on new phone ;D by Spunky on 09-15-2008 at 05:26 PM

The SE K series have great cameras, and while they're not WALKMAN phones, I think the music player can be better. Being SE, you know it's going to be good sound quality anyway and the ear-phones are fantastically comfy

If there is an extended warranty on that phone, take it please.

My sis has that phone, and after about 6 months or so, the buttons crack. I personally know 5 other people with that exact phone and 4 of them experience some variation of the issue.

One of them has the back button not working.

then take a seat, your opinion means nothing
How so? How about you "take a seat." My cousin has one, and he hates it. The wifi will only work if he uses WEP or unsecure, the screen has a yellow tint and the battery barely lasts a day. I will not buy something that is so ridiculously overpriced. You cant even use a memory card ffs.

The only reason the iPhone is doing well is because its made by apple, the fanboys will buy every revision because they want Steve Jobs babies and the clueless will buy one because "it looks cool".
