Is there a script that can make a minimized window flash on the taskbar on someone else's computer without sending a message to the person?
It would look like you sent them a message but when they would check the conversation, nothing new was sent.
If there is no script could someone please write it for me :)

thanks,

crimsonk.

It is possible but both the receiver would need to have the script for this to function correctly.

You could do /nick2 and make your name white (assuming their background is white).

not really fake, but not noticeable :p

they would notice if they then wrote something back to see what was happening.....cos there'd be a big gap between the "last" message and their new one

also, it's not really the purpose of scripts to piss people off......they're supposed to add functionality ^o)

Yeah, should have mentioned that :p
Could make your font like size 6, maybe it'd be a smaller gap (a)

well the nudgestoolscript's main purpose is to piss people off, so i thought hey maybe someone can make something that annoying too :P

RE: Silent Messages by prashker on 09-26-2008 at 09:09 PM

Yeah but like matty said, the receiving user would need to have the script :p

RE: Silent Messages by CrimsonK on 09-26-2008 at 09:12 PM

could it send a nudge or something without sending a noise or a message?

RE: Silent Messages by prashker on 09-26-2008 at 09:13 PM

Why would a person need such a thing :p.

just go

"lol"
"oops wrong convo"

to spark back your convo :p

RE: Silent Messages by CrimsonK on 09-26-2008 at 09:16 PM

yeah but thats no fun, its the suprise of nothing being there when they open the window.
for example if someone tells u to shut up u send nothing back.

RE: Silent Messages by prashker on 09-26-2008 at 09:25 PM

For example ;-)?

* prashker runs

If someone wants to make it go for it :p

I could probably do this. As matty said, they will need to have the script installed.

EDIT: It's done, but your name still shows up with says: after it and you will have a blank line after that. There is probably a better way tbh

...why not just send a blank message

Thats why I didn't post it. Only way I can see to do it is to try and make a direct connection between the 2 contacts on a particular port and and do stuff from there, but both people would need it and it's be a waste of time really when you can just nudge to get people's attention anyway.
