Is there a way to do it?
Am i missin' something?
It can be done in the previous beta version but in this wave 3, i couldn't see an option for it...

Nope, there currently isn't any way to do this. Let's hope they'll obey the "hide offline contacts" in next build.
I made a suggestion, if anyone is an official tester for MS Wave 3, search for Connect ID 372073.
