i know there's probably a good reason for this but why doesn't plus skin all your toasts eg

Depends if the skin creator skinned the toasts or not. I think Oil Slick has an option to skin the toasts somewhere is the options, look for it.
Edit: Uncheck "Don't Skin Toast/Popup Design" under Miscellaneous in skin options.

Oil Slick doesn't skin Plus!, just the Options panel.

plus has its own files independent of messenger. I think the main reason developers choose not to skin it is because its not as easy as normal wlm windows. You don't have as much flexibility.

But yes, Plus! windows in Oil Slick (and most other skins so far) are apparently insanely hard to control (Willz can testament to that
), hence the reason not many skins do this.It also doesn't really matter too much anyway, as you're not as likely to see the Plus! options panels (save custom toasts and script windows where appropriate) as, say, the chat window.

methinks it looks dodgy and ppl should at least try and pachy should make his bits easier to skin

Finally, the problem was that I had opened the Options window without the skin enabled so I was seeing the default Plus! window since the resources loaded were not from Oil Slick. Works fine!
