Canadian parliamentary elections, eh? by MeEtc on 10-14-2008 at 02:20 AM

To all you fellow Canucks out there in the Great White North, tomorrow's the day to leave your igloos, grab your parka, bring your pet beaver, and put an X beside the candidate who you think should help lead our country.

So who you voting for, eh?

If anyone is actually following the election one riding thats going be interesting to see what happens is in Central Nova where Peter MacKay (Liberal, Minister of Foreign Affairs) will be battling against Elizabeth May (Green, Leader).

NDP addressed net neutrality, if I was old enough to vote I'd vote for them. Jack Layton is my new best friend, however at the Century Club meeting earlier in the year for the top students in each grade, I sat beside our Liberal Party candidate David McGuinty, and he said something about getting rid of System Access Fees (which I doubt will happen)...but I'd vote for him too (a) :p

Election can happen at any time, whenever the current government thinks it should happen. Then the election needs to take place within 60 days? of the election call. 36 days between call and voting day this time around
