Error code 81000306 by Dex Luther on 11-02-2008 at 01:28 AM

I've looked all over google, and tried all the fixes I could, but nothing seems to help.

I can sign into one account with no problems. Signing into a second gives me a 81000306 error code.

I've tried re-installing, disabling me firewall, checked my modem all over (it's firewall is off). One site suggested re-registering some .DLLs fixes the problem. It worked for a few days, but the problem came back.

The ever so useless troubleshooter says I have a problem with my host file and key ports. The only changes to the host file are ones made by Spybot. the trouble shooter asks if I want to fix the MSN related ones. I say yes, but it doesn't seem to actually do anything. As for the keyports it tries for a while, but then gives me a thing that says it couldn't fix the problem and then lists a bunch of useless sites including some Microsoft help thing. Clicking on that link gives me a result telling me to use fewer search terms (wow oh so helpful!).

I'm starting to think that maybe M$ changed something on their end to block polygamy (if they can even do that).

One of you wouldn't happen to be magic and/or full of internet win and actually have a solution that works to this problem, would you?

Oh and this may also be  relevant, but it seems that at about the same time this problem started happening I started having trouble getting to my inbox via MSN. IE open up and shows that it's trying to connect to 65.84.186.107, which I assume is an M$ IP, but it'll just sit there saying Connecting... (It's been 45 mins now).

What the hell's going on :'(
