With the update of WLM Beta 9, we went for several days without Plus!. During maybe 2 weeks, WLM had to record my conversations while Plus was down. Now, I've got this mess in my chat logs folder where I have some PLE and some XML.

I tried to open up one XML, decrypt the corresponding PLE, manually decode and reencode all the lines, merge together, reencrypt etc, to make ONE tidy encrypted file. The conversation I tried had 2 small lines. It took me 30 mins.

What would be the best way to merge my xml's and ple's into one neat PLE file? Anyone has got a script for that?

I'm interested in merging Messenger's XML-formatted logs with my MsgPlus HTML-formatted chat logs. (Are we both trying to say the same thing? )

@scumm: PLE files are Plus!'s encrypted chat logs.

I don't think there is such an utility yet, however it should be doable with an xslt stylesheet.

After that use cookie's batch file to encrypt them.
