When I go to the scripts directory a folder is created with a .js file in it though.

I've installed WLM 8.5 and 9.0 but I can't make new scripts or import scripts in either version.

Do you have Windows Vista UAC enabled?

Do you have priveledges in the scripts folder?

Also, please don't bump a thread after just 3hrs. I know you want this to work, but sometimes you just have to wait until someone with a little more knowledge comes and reads your thread.

yea I'm the administrator

everything in /program files/ is set to read only, I'm guessing that's doesn't make a difference

If it is set to read only then how do you expect Message Plus! Live to write new script files?  Some folders are likely needed to be read only, just check the Message Plus! Live folder in particular to make sure there are write options available.

It keep changing the settings back to Readonly, I think the read/write is ok because when I install a script all the files copy but it still gives an error.

Have you installed Windows Script 5.6?
