I've seen this on other forums and i usually use it and find it useful.

If you look on the who's online list you get a list of people online and what there doing.

My suggestion is there is something in everybodys profile saying "Forum Location: Reading thread Google Help @ 12:22 am"

I made an image of were i mean it should be

Also if some users feel they don't want this there an option box in the profile can sort that out.

Anyone else want to share opinions?

People are not going to be stalking people. It's just a feature that will make things quicker and more easier. If nobody else agrees fair enough i'm not going brag about it as am no too bothered about it i just what others opinions.

It's useless and WDZ has better things to code/update to the forum.

WDZ is not done hibernating yet either :p

I believe that comes default with MyBB 1.4+

You believe wrong, he never updated it :P. He has said time and time again that he would, but that's never happened. It's pretty much just wishful thinking now that he'll ever update the board anyhow :P.

Honestly, he's not. Sure, we'd like the term WDZ to be put in to the Oxford Dictionary as a synonym for laziness but hey.. I for one don't question him when it comes to upgrading the forum. I've been here for nearly 4 years now and have seen the same version of the board being used. WDZ makes the necessary changes. He is on the myBB forum checking up on things and making sure we don't have any security vulnerabilities. He has added a number of new features as and when required and customised quite a few as well.

Its not like he's not doing anything but its more like he's too lazy to upgrade because that would mean he would have to go through all of this all over again :) And that's something which is acceptable (since there has hardly ever been a serious bug in the forum and the ones we've had have all been more or less solved :))

So stop asking for updates :P

As for the what are you looking at thing, the who's online page is quite enough. Who really cares to look at a person's profile to see what they are doing, lol :P
