I cant seem to get into the Msghelp IRC. Ive tried using the webchat and also an IRC client.
Both of them gave me the following error:
[INFO] Connecting to irc://irc.msgplus.net/ (irc://irc.msgplus.net/)… [Cancel]
[ERROR] Connection to irc://irc.msgplus.net/ (irc://irc.msgplus.net/) reset. [Help] Reconnecting in 15 seconds. [Cancel]

try using irc://artifact.psychedelic.net

perhaps the port is blocked in your network?

he can connect using mibbit. but mibbit sucks so that's no use.

If you were able to load the webchat at all, that means you could communicate with the server using HTTP (the chat applet is hosted on the server itself). That pretty much leaves blocked ports. Can you connect to any IRC servers on 6667?
Some of the alternate ports the server listens on are 7000 or 56789, try one of those in your client.
P.S. Are you doing this at home on a plain ISP connection, or at school or some other place that could have a restrictive firewall in place?

As already stated, i can connect using mibbit, but the web chat wont work and neither does ChatZilla (add-on for FX). I have forwarded ports 6660-6669 but still to no avail.
I am doing this at home, and I am behind a NAT firewall from my router.

You don't need to forward your own ports. That's if you want to receive connections from other places. Which you don't.
