What do you use Plus! for? 

Is it for any feature in particular or is it for all the features that make WLM better? Please post what your main reason is for using it!

Mine:

It originally was for the color names but now it's for chat logs, lock and a whole load more things

Skins mostly. It is the greatest feature ever.

Contacts on desktop, more accounts logged in from the same computer, customization of alerts, skin, ...

I'm only sorry that MP!L doesn't have option to allow more than 3 file transfer at the same time, as i wrote here...

Tabbed chats and chat logs.

skin, scripts, colours (contacts), chat logs, little features (like dont display the alert when signing off with chats open)... so yea...

I use it to have some random pop ups with advertising on my desktop, and i love it.

I use tabs an the script who allows you to send files from explorer and floating contacts

tab chat and all the other wonderful features that comes with it. too many to talk about... Hi all...

For almost all its features, including POP3 e-mail account checking, messenger locking etc. I feel I have to use it especially not to see the formatted contact names with codes in them and to receive emotion sounds properly. Also I sometimes apply skins & I use some scripts. However three features that I rarely use are window transparency, contacts on desktop and quick texts&icons, and two reasons for not using the last two features: I can type fast enough and I don't use many emoticons.

I mostly use it for tabs and custom away messages and statuses but I love the audio emoticons those are always fun and some of the other features are also very helpful.

I use it for many things:
- Encrypted chat logs,
- Transparency effects,
- Tabbed Chats (greatest feature evaR!!)

and loads of other things. Messenger Plus is the best mod ever. Other IM just pales in comparison to WLM because of Plus!

I used it solely for gmail checking. Gmail notifier fails cos I have to re-login at the page itself. The checker script goes straight to inbox.

Chat Log Encrypting

The main purpose I use it for is the tabbed chats; without that, Windows Live Messenger would cause the desktop to be so cluttered, to the point of me not being able to use Windows Live Messenger without installing it first. Another feature that I use every now and then is the 'copy email address' feature, it's probably one of the most useful, understated things in the whole piece of software.

It's not that I don't want to use the other features, it's just that now I'm pretty much away from this 'Messenger' community, I don't have any real need for using Windows Live Messenger that often, apart from having the odd informal chat with a client.

I think a main reason why I have Messenger Plus! installed on my system now is because of habit. If it wasn't there, then I'd probably feel a little bit uncomfortable, as though something is missing. I've been here for over five years and been using the software for slightly longer, so you should be able to get a slight idea of what I'm talking about.
